Dr. Ighoroje, Ese James

Profile

Dr. James Ese lghoroje was born on the 24th September, 1974, at Owhelogbo, lsoko North LGA, Delta State, Nigeria. He attended National Comprehensive Secondary School warri, Delta State, University, Abraka, Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki and Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (formerly Anambra State University), Igbariam. Campus. He holds BSc (Hons) Banking and Finance, MSc Banking and Finance, and PhD in Banking and Finance. He has worked as Administrative Staff in the defunct Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro,Nigeria from 2004 to 2006. His teaching career began in 2006 at the same Polytechnic as Lecturer 111 where he rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance. Dr. James Ese lghoroje during his service at the Delta State Polytechnic held various administrative positions which include Director Weekend Programs, Dean of student Affairs, Chairman School fee Task Force committee.His outstanding performance as the Chairman Examination Monitoring Committee at the defunct DSPZ earned him the nickname " Mr No nonsense" by students of the defunct institution . He served in two occasions as a member Convocation Committee, Member Students Disciplinary Committee, Member Fire inferno Committee, Member Examination Booklets Review Committee, Chairman Quality Assurance Committee, Students Staff Adviser , Students Course adviser, chapters contributor in the entrepreneurship Test Book published by the defunct Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro. etc. Dr, James Ese lghoroje is currently lecturing in the newly established Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro in the Department of Banking and Finance and the current Dean of Student Affairs, Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro. He is an external assessor on Prima facie to the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, a position he has held and carried out successfully for three different times on publication and related works on the established prima facie case of the concerned lecturers. Dr. James Ese lghoroje is a renowned disciplinarian, very principled, no wonder he held the exotic position of Chairman Examination Malpractice Committee for eight good years, not a push over with zero tolerance to corruption. He is a goal getter and very resolute personality, which earned him a Commendation by the defunct Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, Delta State, Nigeria in 2015. He is an associate member of Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN), A professional member of Institute of Credit Administration (ICA) Full member Association of Management and Social Sciences Researchers of Nigeria (AMSSRN) An Associate Member Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). His quest for knowledge impartment over the years has propelled him to publishing several locally, nationally and international journals articles in various well per reviewed publication outfit as well as conference papers and journals index in Google Scholars, Urich and Scopus. Dr. James is politically inclined. He is happily married with children.
